Stray Dog Goes Viral After He Stole A Book About 'Abandonment'. This Is Unbelievable

The heartbreaking fact is that there are countless stray dogs wandering around with homes or families to care for them. Many may live their entire lives on the streets. But for some, they find ways to get a message across and to get help – even through near miraculous circumstances.

This pup ended up spending several days in front of the bookstore at Feevale University in Novo Hamburgo, Brazil. It seemed like he had decided to camp out there and make it a temporary home for himself. He didn’t cause trouble, so no one minded him – until one day, when he rushed into the bookstore and stole something!

The pup snuck into the shop and, for reasons unknown to anyone, decided to steal a book. But it was the title of the book he chose and not his actions that shocked everyone. The book he ran out with was “The Days of Abandonment” by Elena Ferrante. It was like he was trying to express his feelings!

A student went to return the book, but in the meantime, surveillance footage of the event was already starting to go viral. It caught the attention of local rescuers, who arrived to pick the pup up and give him a new life where he would no longer be abandoned. After a health check, a nice bath, and standard vaccinations, the pup went into a happy foster home!

This pup is now awaiting adoption as he lives out his time with a loving foster family. He’ll never have to experience any days of abandonment ever again, and it’s all thanks to this surprising coincidence!
