Stray Dog With Tumor Undergoes Surgery To Save Her Life

Every dog deserves love and care, including stray dogs. Seeing sick dogs on the streets is heartbreaking as these dogs are often left to suffer alone. If you ever encounter a sick stray dog in your neighborhood, the best thing to do is report the case to your local rescue center to save the dog's life.

A kindhearted citizen recently reported the case of a stray dog with a massive tumor to the Animal Kingdom Foundation. The dog had been carrying the tumor, large enough to be dragged on the ground, for a long time before help arrived.

The foundation picked up the dog, later named Hope, as soon as they received the report and took her to a vet clinic for tests to ascertain what caused the tumor. She was given some antibiotics and monitored for a few days before undergoing surgery to remove the tumor.

The surgery lasted more than 3 hours, and according to the vets who carried it out, the tumor weighed 2.6kg. Thankfully, the surgery was a success, and soon she started feeling much better.

It took about two months before Hope recovered and found a new loving family. It is so heartwarming to see her full of life and completely transformed. Saving a dog's life is one of the kindest things a person can do to make the world a better place.
