When Sue was rescued on August 22, 2017, she didn’t think it would take so long to get adopted. Back then, she was only a little puppy and was taken in by RSPCA’s Bath Cats And Dogs Home. Four years have passed and Sue is still waiting patiently for her forever home.
Sue has lived most of her life in the shelter. Though she was adopted once in 2018, she had to return to the shelter because her new family’s circumstances changed. She is one of the sweetest dogs there and the staff can’t understand why she hasn’t been rehomed. They all love having her there, but it’s time for her to go.
Since being there, she has seen 941 other animals get adopted. The hope is that her day will come soon, but it hasn’t happened yet. Truthfully, Sue has a few behavioral issues, but she has made remarkable improvements with her training.
She gets a little overexcited at times but she is a sweet and clever pup who just needs the love and affection of a family. She loves to curl up on the sofa and play with her toys like any other dog, and she loves to make new friends. She gets overwhelmed at times and will need a quiet space to herself, and will require a secure garden.
In her time at the shelter, Sue has made so many friends. They all want to see her find her forever family so she can get everything she deserves.
