You know, I still don’t know what it is about the tennis ball that makes it such a favorite among golden retrievers – it’s almost like a celebrity. You see a golden retriever and you know that they have a tennis ball and absolutely adore it.
Last week I was invited to my friend’s pup’s 3rd birthday and thought, what better gift than a tennis ball, right? I have never met a golden that didn’t love a tennis ball so I picked a few up for him along with some treats. Looks like everyone thought like I did and my friend’s pup ended up owning close to 50 tennis balls by the end of the party! So that will last, what? A couple months?
There is nothing better for a golden!
