Terrified Pups Rescued From China's Slaughterhouse Are On Their Way To Forever Loving Homes

Many of us don’t realize it, but markets involving pup and cat meat are still alive and thriving, even in this day and age. Most of these markets are based in China and Korea, where pup meat (and occasionally cat meat) are still considered delicacies.

A horrifying fate for many of these pups – but luckily, these volunteers are here to help!

This team of volunteers decided that this will not stand. The team traveled to China, where they rescued almost 90 Golden Retriever puppies from the slaughterhouse. They brought back home all these puppies, who are now getting love and attention for the very first time in their young lives.

Looking at how these pups are acting like right now, you would’ve never guessed at their dark and sordid past. Luckily, it will remain that – the past. These pups are headed towards loving forever homes, where they will never have to worry about a thing ever again!
