Pups might enjoy being in a moving vehicle, but that doesn’t always meant they understand exactly how it works. After all, a lot of this machine stuff is pure magic to a dog – I mean, some of us humans don’t fully understand this stuff either, so what can we expect?

When Messi the five-year-old golden retriever pup went out with his Dad on a moped ride in Udon Thani, Thailand, he was safely placed on a sidecar. The pup had never been on a contraption like this before, and he became confused when he was that the road was moving underneath him. Thinking quickly, he decided that he needed to run in order to keep up with Daddy’s fast driving. What a silly pup!

This pup jogged as fast as he could in his confined space, not realizing that he didn’t have to. I guess this is one way to take a pup on a ride without compromising on exercise time – sort of like having your cake and eating it too!
