The First Time He Laid His Eyes On His Golden Retriever Pup...Too Emotional

Everyone meet Turner, an adorable golden retriever pup who was introduced to Nick, a student who was shot 4 times during the Chardon High School shooting in 2012. The first time he laid eyes on him…so magical!

On the 27th of February 2012, Nick Walczak was one of those students who was shot 4 times during the Chardon High School shooting and due to the severity of his injury, the poor boy was left paralyzed. Although Nick tried to forget what happened and how it affected him, deep inside he felt lonely and helpless.

Now all that has changed because not only did Nick graduate and move on with his life, he also has a best friend – Turner the golden retriever. Being a service dog, Turner was part of the W.A.G.S. 4 Kids program. Now you’ve got to see how Nick reacted when he first met Turner on page 2 below!
