It is incredibly sweet to see just how much love pups have for their Moms and Dads! They tend to show it in all sorts of ways, ranging from waiting at the door every evening for their parents’ return, to constantly following them everywhere! For some pups, there isn’t anything they wouldn’t do for their beloved parents.
The most common form of affection is, of course, licking! As we all know, it can be considered kisses of sorts from our pups. In this video, this Mom is getting all the affection her Dachshund pup can hope to give while still in her arms!
While many of us may find this form of affection amusing, if very distracting, what many of us don’t know is that this is actually a very soothing action for pups to perform. While the biggest reason likely is because they love or respect you, some pups may be licking your face just because they like it!
