This video introduces the world to Buster, the miniature Dachshund! Courtney Smith posted this video of Buster in May 2016, and it is rather adorable!
We get to see Buster’s first car ride home, him playing with toys, getting love and kisses, taking baths, snuggling, and eating! The best part is at the 4:49 mark, near the end, when Buster is laying on the floor next to a television remote – guess which one is bigger! You will have to watch the video to see! Some of the unique features of the miniature dachshund are that they are curious and bold; they are always ready for adventure!
Be aware that dachshunds are hunters. The breed originated in Germany, and their name comes from two German words dachs (which means badger) and hund (meaning dog). Dachshunds were bred to flush badgers out of their dens) and they do like to dig, hunt, and track things by scent!
