International airports across the country have these crews of cuties known as the “Beagle Brigade” to protect America’s borders from incoming contaminants!
Things like insects and diseases have a tendency to cling to food from other countries. Unfortunately, most people don’t realize that and occasionally try to bring home an edible souvenir from their vacation!
That’s where these pups step in to give their bags a sniff. With their ultra-heightened sense of smell, they check for any meat, fruit, or plants travelers might have stashed away with their incredible noses.
