These Two Adorable Pups Are Looking To Be Adopted Together... Let's Help Them Find Their Family

Jimmy the senior Chihuahua and Stevie the blind Shar-Pei share an amazing bond. They are practically joined at the hip and cannot function without the other – especially Stevie, who relies on Jimmy to guide him.

In all the 30 years that the California Shar-Pei Rescue has been operating, staff have never seen a bond quite like what these two pups share. Jimmy seems to be aware of Stevie’s disability and makes sure to take care of him, and he becomes distressed when he can’t be with him. He’s always kissing and grooming his partner!

These two pups were brought to the shelter by the Ramona Humane Society, where they were found wandering southern California. It seems that they may have come from one home, but no one came to claim the pups.

Although the California Shar-Pei Rescue has a breed specialization, they knew they could not take in Stevie without Jimmy. For now, Jimmy and Stevie live in a small shelter that the organization runs.

For now, they will live there, and they are awaiting a forever home that will adopt them both together. Stevie also has health issues that cause him to experience seizures, so he will likely need to take medication for as long as he lives, so potential adopters must be aware of this fact and be able to provide for his medical needs.

Stevie and Jimmy are loving, relaxed, and amazing dogs, and they deserve a loving family.
