Putting a pup in a costume can be tough work, and making one from scratch that will fit them and won’t be clawed to shreds in seconds is even harder! The parents to this pup went all out for the costume contest at their local park’s doggie egg hunt for Easter, with hilarious and adorable results!
Twinkie the dachshund pup is dressed up as two bunnies carrying a basket of Easter eggs! Is that not just the most precious thing you’ve ever heard? Unfortunately, his ears fall out a lot, making the costume look very silly and a little strange, but somehow, that doesn’t detract for how precious the pup looks.
According to Twinkie’s parents, this costume did not come out the way they wanted and didn’t quite look the way it was supposed to, but honestly, although it didn’t quite go to plan, it looks so cute I just want to squeeze the little pup! I’m sure he got lots of accolades in that costume contest!
