This Adorable Pup Absolutely Loves Digging! Watch Him Go!

It can’t be helped- dogs love to dig, and oftentimes no matter what you do, they’ll do it anyway and track dirt and mud into the house!

Some dogs just absolutely love to dig. Maybe it is a breed thing, just like how Huskies are inclined to keep digging, and maybe it’s just a personal preference thing, like for this Dachshund!

As can be seen in this video captured by his parent, Slinky the dapple Dachshund just absolutely loves digging! With his tail wagging excitedly his busy little feet claw away at the loose dirt, he turns up rich soil that Dad and Mom will inevitably have to deal with. Not that we’ve the heart to stop him- just look at him excavating all that earth like a drilling machine!

Since digging is necessary for the emotional and mental health of some dogs, sometimes it’s just easier to train them to help with the garden (rather than ruin it!) or give them some space to let loose and have fun!
