Did you know some pups are actually sight hounds? Normally, pups are popularly are well known for having a superior sense of smell and hearing – and for a good reason. Because of this, the loss of sight for most pups isn’t a very traumatic experience.
In other words, so long as their environment doesn’t change too much, they won’t have such a hard time adjusting since they relied more on their other senses anyway. Some pups, however, were actually bred to hunt by sight instead of smell! As a result, they are more like us humans, and rely more on sight. This doesn’t mean that all pups can’t enjoy watching TV, however!
There are plenty of viral videos on the internet showing pups clearly watching TV intently, and this video of a 2-year-old Beagle pup is no exception! This pup happens to enjoy watching animal documentaries on TV – not a bad past time, really!
