This Adorable Pup Buried His Toy Somewhere And Now Can't Remember Where!

Dogs all have some innate behaviors that are leftovers from their ancestors. Like howling – and digging. Does your dog dig in the couch or carpet?

Well, that is actually an ancestral behavior. In the wild, dogs will dig or paw at the ground to make a nice comfy bed to lay down in. According to dogcare.dailypuppy.com, your dog may also dig in the carpet for entertainment, separation anxiety, or as an urge to bury food.

Certain breeds are prone to dig more than other – like Jack Russell terriers, who were bred for digging up and hunting mice. Bow, the one-year-old Labrador, is seen digging into his pillow in this video. You may think he is just preparing for a nap, but then he jumps on the couch. We guess that Bow ‘buried’ has lost a toy or bone and can’t remember where he put it! He is checking all his hiding spots for it!
