This Adorable Pup Found Himself A New Home Where He Will Be Well Taken Care Of!

Adopting a pup often can come with some challenges. For starters, you just aren’t entirely sure exactly what is the full extent of the behavioral or physical issues your new pup might have.

In the case of Rex the Golden Retriever and Labrador Retriever mix, he just simply happens to be an overweight pup. As a breed, Retrievers are well known to be big eaters, and will just gorge on as much food as they can possibly get away with! Combine that with a previous parent who fed the pup a lot and didn’t give them enough exercise, and you have yourself one chubby pup!

Luckily, this new family is trying to help this pup shake off some of that fat by giving him plenty of exercise. They tried to train him up as a hunting pup too, but unfortunately Rex was too lazy for that training to be successful.
