Sometimes, we just can’t help fiddling with things, like a pen or pencil, a pair of glasses, or anything at all on the table in front of us. It’s a harmless habit that can get on the nerves of those around us, but did you know that there’s a dog equivalent for these actions?
Pups love to chew on things! They gnaw on everything they see. When they’re little, we get them small chew toys to start them off with things to fiddle with, but as they grow older, they find more entertaining toys to play with – and sometimes, those “toys” they find are actually objects!
This adorable German Shepherd pup is lying comfortably on the grass, resting under the shade on a warm sunny day. Under his paws, he has a coconut, or what is left of it. As it turns out, this pup has chosen this coconut as his new chew toy, and he’s already bitten off the outer husk and is working his way into the harder shell. Woah, pup, slow down!
