There is something absolutely delicious about soft, clean, fluffy sheets that smell of soap and sunshine! Just thinking about it probably makes you want to crawl into bed to enjoy that lovely sensation. Unsurprisingly, pups are a huge fan of it too!
Oliver the Beagle pup loves helping out his Mom with the bedsheets, even in the middle of the afternoon! By that we really mean he loves twisting and rubbing himself into the plush blankets, then burrowing underneath the sheets!
It isn’t too surprising for this pup to do this – many pups do love to dig, but Beagles were originally bred as working pups to hunt down small prey. To do this, they had to be perfectly willing to chase after the target into their burrows! Of course, it would make their trainers’ job much easier if the pup had the innate need to burrow already, so it is now encoded genetically into these pups.
