As any nail polish enthusiast can tell you, you will always want to do your nail art in a location that is well ventilated. This is because the nail polish releases very strong fumes that not only smell strongly of chemicals, but also isn’t very healthy to be breathed in.
As you can imagine, pups – with their incredibly strong sense of smell – aren’t too fond of nail polish. Bailey the Golden Retriever finds it a very interesting activity, due to the bright colors his Mom is using, but he still doesn’t like the smell. As a result, he is excited about this activity, but also barks at it a lot. In fact, he goes absolutely crazy!
For those who want safer non-toxic nail polish, consider checking out brands that are labelled 5-free, 7-free, and even 9-free! This means that they have removed a corresponding number of harmful ingredients, making it safer for you and your pup! Not that you should be putting human nail polish on your pups, of course!
