Pups are social creatures that love communicating with us, their parents! (Especially since we aren’t very good at communicating any other way. Crossing the interspecies language barrier can be pretty difficult!) Normally they will do this via barking and body language, but some pups utilize whining instead!
This German Shepherd named Roxy is incredibly vocal – but as you will quickly learn from watching this video, she whines instead of barking or howling! Mom notices this pup walking up to the door and sitting in front of it before she starts whining. Just what does she want?
It looks like she may want to go out, but it isn’t time for her to go out for a walk yet – and she should know that. So Mom tries to distract this pup by getting her to perform some tricks, but this pup isn’t to be deterred from her goal, and convinces Mom to go out in the end!
