After owning a pup for many years -especially if it is a big pup! – you tend to forget just how small they started out as. So when you adopt a new puppy, either as a first-time addition to the family, a replacement, or as a companion for an older pup, you would overestimate the pup’s ability to traverse its new environment.
This often means your pup’s bed is too big for them, which can lead to some adorable sights as they try to climb in and out!
You can see that happening with this 10-week-old Beagle, Honey! She’s almost too small to climb into her wicker toy basket. In fact, you can clearly see her struggle to get into it in the first place. Then, once she falls in, it is clear getting out is going to be another difficult problem!
Luckily for Honey, puppies grow very fast. So this will soon be a thing of the past, and she’ll probably be clearing it with no problem by next week!
