Teaching pups obedience commands is best done as young as possible, as any professional who works with pups can tell you. At these young ages, a pup’s brain is like a dry sponge, ready to soak up any and all information that comes its way!
This is so the brain can learn how its environment will be like, and file that information away as a formational part of its development!
This Dad has decided to take advantage of it and teach his Beagle pup, Riley, some basic commands! At only 14 weeks old, this pup already knows how to sit, and has just learned how to shake a paw! While this may be a cute party trick, this is all still part of obedience training, which is very important at this stage!
It is also a great way to get your pup used to training as well! Riley, being a Beagle, is an intelligent pup, so learning what her Dad wants of her shouldn’t take too long!
