Bringing a new pup into your home is an exciting prospect. After all, you’re adding another member to the family! Unfortunately, life events happen and circumstances change, and many of these wonderful pups end being sent into rescue centers through no fault of their own.
Beauty, a 9 year old Beagle mix, is one of those lovely pups that have been sent to a rescue center, SouthEast Beagle Rescue, because of her previous parents’ circumstances, wherein they had a divorce. Sweet and affectionate, this old pup has had experience with children and would be perfect for a family home!
While there’s a desire for younger pups, purebreds, and the like (and thus the assumption that it’s best to go to a breeder for a young, purebred pup) it’s important to remember that you can find these sort of pups in rescue centers as well! Many of them have been socialised, and the older ones will be a gentle addition to homes and too deserve a change at a forever home!
