You would think that with all the coverage that exists regarding the heartbreaking number of pups desperately in need of a loving forever home, not to mention the amount of encouragement there is to adopt and not shop, there would be fewer pups in rescue centers.
Alas, this is sadly not the case. Many pups end up in pounds or rescue shelters for a myriad of reasons. Some of them are strays that were picked off the street, others were abandoned by irresponsible owners in various ways. There are also owners who, due to unfortunate events in their personal lives or their passing, can no longer care for their precious pups.
As a result, you have pups like this Beagle and Basset Hound mix in search of a new family. Unfortunately for this sweet pup, mixed breeds tend to find themselves passed over when it comes to adoption. Hopefully, someone will see past his breeding to bring him home!
