Muttville Senior Dog Rescue is on a mission to change how we treat older dogs. They want to make the lives of older dogs more comfortable and happy and do that with rescue, adoption, foster, education, advocacy, and hospice.
Sherri Franklin founded Muttville in 2007 – she is a rescue worker and strong advocate for animals. Muttville started in Sherri’s home, and she rescued 27 dogs her first year. Eventually, the organization grew, and she had to move it out of her home in 2012.
Each year, Muttville rescues about 1000 dogs! One of their charges is a beagle mix named Pepsi. Pepsi’s family lost their home and could no longer care for him. Pepsi is ten years old and full of life! He has a tail that just won’t stop! He hasn’t met a person or dog that he didn’t like! Visit Muttville’s website for more information. They’re located at 255 Alabama Street, San Francisco, CA 94103.
