Many pups react strongly to sudden noises, especially when those noises happen fairly regularly and always with a specific series of events that happens afterwards. Not sure what I mean? Imagine a doorbell. It rings loudly and suddenly, a pup’s ears perk up, and then either the pup spots a potential intruder outside or a parent goes over to unlock the door!
That’s probably why pups have such strong reactions to a doorbell’s telltale ring. Juno the beagle pup is one of them. When the doorbell sounds at home, even when the pup is at his most relaxed, quiet state, his ears immediately prick up and he leaps to his feet – er, paws. Then, he runs straight to the door at the speed of light!
What is he expecting will happen? A mailman? A friend? Perhaps a treat? Hilariously captioned “When bae rings the doorbell”, this video will strike a funny note with all pup parents who deal with their pup’s extreme responses to the sound of the doorbell every day!
