Some breeds are well-known to be howlers. Arctic pup breeds like the Malamute, the Siberian Husky, and the Samoyed are noted to hardly ever bark. When they do actually make a noise, they opt to howl instead! The predisposition to howl isn’t limited to just these breeds, however – the Beagle is well known to love howling as well!
This Beagle puppy is still learning many things as it grows and matures in both body and mind. One of the learning moments that happened to be captured on camera in this video is this puppy’s first howl! Sitting on the tiled floor of the living room, the pup tries to howl!
It sounds mostly like a bark that turned into a howl, but this doesn’t deter this pup’s family from being ecstatic at all. Everyone gets super excited about this small pup achieving yet another milestone, and that joy is infectious!
