For most people who adopt purebred puppies, you will find that common practice is to choose a puppy, and then wait for them to grow up so they bring it home! (This is especially since that you can only bring them home once they are 7 or 8 weeks old.)
Percy the black Labrador Retriever, at 8-weeks-old, is ready to be picked up by his parents! You can see that he is pretty excited to see his new Mom and Dad come to visit him, and is all hyper about it. Because he is a puppy, however, he gets tired pretty quickly. Just 15 minutes later and he is now all tuckered out on his new Dad’s lap!
After a quick snooze, this pup is up and running again, ready to go bouncing around all over the place! All that energy and excitement is certainly serving him well, once he goes home for the first time and starts exploring it!
