Huskies are one of the smartest breeds out there, no doubt about it.
They’re notorious for being highly intelligent and independent, renown for being extremely mischievous and very destructive when bored or under stimulated, causing great distress to hapless parents when they come home to find the results of their pup’s latest idea. On a similar spectrum, you get Labrador Retrievers, also highly intelligent, a huge people-pleaser, and a pup with loads of energy!
So what happens when you combine these two highly trainable and excitable breeds? You get a smart pup that needs to work off all that energy in playtime, but still has a mind of his own! This Husky-Lab mix spends his Wednesday mornings playing fetch with his Dad.
It’s clear Dad’s trying to train him to pick up the ball and bring it back every time, but he still gets distracted by the cars and the world outside! But that’s okay, he still gets back to training after checking out the city streets.
