As any responsible Mom or Dad can tell you, socializing your pups when they are young is incredibly important. Despite our best efforts to desensitize our pups to new and scary modern devices in their puppyhood, some things remain scary no matter what we do!

It never is the fault of the pup – every pup is an individual personality with their own personal fears, just like us humans. Sometimes one of those deep-seated fears is a fear of escalators, which can’t be overcome unless Dad is there to protect the pup from the scary thing!

This Golden Retriever pup is almost as long as his Dad is tall, but that doesn’t stop Dad from carrying this scared pup all the way up the escalator. You can see that the pup is still not entirely sure about the whole ride, but is much more comfortable now that Dad is carrying him!
