Meet the German shepherd who exercises himself. If you have a shepherd, you probably know how much energy they have – it’s hard to tire a shepherd out, they can often outlast their humans which can make it tough to give them all the stimulation and exercise they need if you’re not quite as athletic as your fur kid.
Well, this GSD took matters into his own paws and exercises on the treadmill! When the humans aren’t feeling up for a long walk or run, this shepherd simply climbs up on the treadmill and exercises to his heart’s content! It’s a great way to exercise, especially in the winter months if you live somewhere especially cold.
The video on page 2 shows the German shepherd trotting on the running machine while his human reclines on the settee. As the camera pans round to the human, the man wearing his baseball cap backwards, nods his approval at the unusual scene!
The shepherd, wearing a cone on its head, pounds the treadmill positioned next to the window in the property!
The German shepherd dog is more even-tempered than some of the other herding breeds. Whether you have a long haired German shepherd or a short haired German shepherd, these handsome dogs make excellent family members!
