This German Shepherd Was Outsmarted By His Lazy Friend During The Treadmill Workout!

This is the ultimate example of a dog having a great workout indoors vs. a dog having the laziest workout indoors.

First, we have the German Shepherd Dog who is set up on a treadmill, walking at a steady pace, getting some great exercise.

This, by the way, is a great way to exercise your dog if they have more energy than you do, the weather is bad, or you aren’t mobile enough to exercise them with walks or running. But how do you know how much exercise is enough?

According to PetMD, “Though exercise needs are based on a dog’s age, breed, size and overall health, your dog should spend between 30 minutes to two hours on an activity every day. Breeds in the hunting, working, or herding groups (e.g., Labrador retrievers, hounds, collies and shepherds) will need the most exercise.”

Now, with this in mind, we have another dog, a German Shorthaired Pointer (or GSP for short). GSPs are typically high energy dogs, but Maggie is…well…let’s just say she has other priorities!

I couldn’t help but laugh when I saw Maggie! See her clever yet lazy technique on page 2!
