This Golden Retriever Got Ready For Prom With Her Girl And They Both L

Erin Condrin of Queensland Australia wants people to know one thing: disabilities don’t stop from enjoying special occasions.

Condrin has Classical Type Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, which affects the connective tissues and makes it easy to dislocate joints. It can make even simple tasks, like tying your shoes, quite difficult to accomplish. However, she has a great service dog named Lacey by her side to help make life a little easier. Lacey was trained by Canine Helpers to grant Erin independence and a new lease on life and she’s used to being by Erin’s side doing everything from going to the hospital to now, going to prom!

Erin got a custom-made dress she could wear in her wheelchair, rented a ramp, planned her medications accordingly, visited the salon, and did it all with her service dog Lacey by her side. Oh, and did we mention Lacey got a dress too? These are some of the sweetest photos ever!
