If you are a pup lover, you may have heard about the zoomies. If you are a Dad or a Mom of a younger pup, you definitely would have seen said zoomies in action. But exactly what are these zoomies, and when do they happen?
It may surprise you, but there is an actual scientific term for this – Frenetic Random Activity Periods, or just FRAPs. You will normally see these in puppies or young adult pups growing out of their puppyhood – but that isn’t to say that older pups won’t have this as well!
These zoomies are relatively harmless, but they could potentially put your pup in danger in a home environment. This is because slick floors and fragile items could make any accidents that your pup causes during the zoomies worse. To keep FRAPs to a minimum, make sure your pups get plenty of activity around the time the zoomies happen – just like what these German Shepherd pups are getting!
