This Labrador Retriever Can Obey WRITTEN Commands!

You know how everyone likes to think that their kid is the smartest one in the class? It’s kind of a similar phenomenon with dogs!

Everyone thinks that their dog is the smartest and most capable animal on earth!

Thankfully, there are plenty of smart pups out there proving a lot of people right. Some of them can imitate babies, some seem to understand every word you say, others can ride motorcycles, and other even seem to speak English!

Meet Jordan, the brilliant black lab. Her mom shows her two sides of the same card. One says “down” and one says “sit.” Jordan, Einstein of dogs, is easily able to distinguish between the two words and follows the commands every time!

Granted, it could just be that she’s not really ‘reading,’ but has just learned to associate two different visual cues with two different behaviors. That said, even if she’s just good at recognizing different images, what is that if not the first stage of learning how to read? As far as I’m concerned, she can absolutely read!
