Losing a dog is never easy. You live with the dog for years, and they are part of the family. Often times, you are the one left to make the decision about when to end their suffering.
Going to the vet to have them ‘go to sleep’ is the worst feeling in the world. One vet office lights a candle and asks for people in the waiting room to stay silent when an animal is being put down. All pet parents know that feeling, and it is heartwarming to see how much respect the people waiting have during that time.
This video features an adorable baby and a three-year-old German shepherd named Max. Max, according to his family, had been sick for two years and these were some of the last videos ever taken of him. Rest in peace, Max. We know you will be waiting at the Rainbow Bridge for your family!
