This Magician's Show At The Shelter Records The Most Hilarious Reactions From Shelter Pups!

Magic tricks are truly amazing to behold. Even though we know there’s some secret behind it, it’s still incredible to watch how even simple sleight of hand can appear so mind-blowing.

Up till now, this is something that mainly humans have enjoyed. But today, the residents at the Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter, located in New York, get to experience just that! In a collaboration with the TBS Network and Rob Bliss (the director who worked on the 2014 viral Catcall video), magician John Stessel has arrived to bring magic to the shelter pups!

Stessel has always wanted to perform his magic for pups and was thrilled to get the chance to do so for this very special audience. His trick was simple – show the pups a treat in his hand, then make it disappear. And the reactions of each shocked, befuddled, or annoyed pup were absolutely perfect!

According to Stessel, seeing the pups and their different responses was so cute. Some jumped all over him, trying to find the treat. Some rolled over in absolute bewilderment. Some walked away, visibly unamused. And one particularly excitable puppy tries to steal Stessel’s hat!

This video was made to showcase the adorable personalities of each and every pup available in order to appeal to potential adopters. Pups received loads of love and treats after starring during their segment of the video. The hope is that now that these pups and their video has gone viral, they too will put on a bit of a vanishing act – out of the shelter, and into wonderful forever homes.
