No one ever said that waking up was easy. The alarm goes off, and most of the time we all roll over and feel as if we just laid down!
We all need about eight hours of sleep each night to be at our best. The very young and very old need more sleep. The same is true for animals. Puppies need more sleep than adult dogs. An elderly dog will need more sleep too. The older you get, the more you appreciate a good night’s sleep!
Sir Doc Holliday is about to wake up. No one said it was going to be a quick and painless process. As a senior dog, it is Doc Holliday’s prerogative to have lazy mornings – every morning! Dad is there saying “Good Morning” to his faithful canine companion. You can tell by the look in Doc’s eyes that morning has come a little too early!
