This is Marti. She is a sweet Dachshund that came to Muttville senior dog rescue located in San Francisco, California from Merced.
She is 15 years old and weighs 10 pounds. Marti was ready to find a new family when this video was made, and happily, she found one! The staff described Marti as a shy girl who would warm up to you quickly. Marti’s sweet personality make her really a lovable dog! She also got along with any other dog – no matter their size! Marti loves to go on walks and is a mellow dog perfect for a quiet family.
Muttville’s mission, according to their website is to change how the world thinks about older dogs. They want to create a better life for senior dogs through rescue, fostering, adoption, and hospice care. No dog, no matter how old they are, should have to spend their last hours in a cold, dark shelter.
