Lobsters are members of the Nephropidae family and are large marine crustaceans. They have long bodies and muscular tails and can be found living on the seafloor.
Lobsters are typically the most profitable commodity in the coastal areas where they are harvested. Lobsters have a hard-outer protective exoskeleton and to grow, they have to molt. In the wild, a lobster can live up to 50 years! Lobster is included in many delicious recipes like lobster Thermidor and lobster Newberg.
You can buy a live lobster at many grocery stores and cook them up at home! Bonnie, the golden retriever, is about to meet a lobster for the very first time! At first, she doesn’t seem too interested -but then, Bonnie tries to pick it up! Dad quickly puts a stop to that and tells Bonnie not to eat their supper!
