Although there is now an increasing trend of having a pup as your substitute child, in light of how much more difficult it is to raise a child these days, many families still have both pups and children!
Some people just feel that their family is not complete without having both a pup and a child – the two fulfill different roles!
That seems to be the case that has happened with this family, with this German Shepherd pup’s human sibling watching over her. The pup is still a growing puppy, and is very likely younger than her human sibling. With Mom and Dad out of the house, this child is now in charge of the pup. Both seem pretty happy with this arrangement!
It is always a good idea to make sure any children you assign to watch over your pups should only be older children, for the safety of everyone involved!
