Unusual Friendship Between Dog And Calf Will Hit You Right In The Feels

Too many times in our lives the things don’t go exactly as we planned or wanted. In that case, we can change the plans, redirect our mission of life, or let the Universe itself decide for us.

It seems like the Universe decided for the two not so lucky souls. Cupcake, known as the “downed calf” and a failed cattle dog named BO, met and developed the most gentle and affectionate bond you could ever see. Cupcake, the young calf was born with crooked front legs. As she grew, the birth defect made it hard for the animal to walk around and it seemed like there is no hope for poor Cupcake.

A brighter future her came knocking on the door with the help of Genia Kay Meyer who took care of the calf with the help of her pup Bo. Bo, the gorgeous pup who was supposed to be a cattle dog, was brought to the Meyers farm; however, due to a severe sickness on car rides, it was impossible for Bo to reach the cattle he needed to herd, so the mission intended for him failed too.

When Bo first met Cupcake, he started licking the milk of the Cupcake’s face as she was on the bottle, and has never left her side since. This instant and affectionate bond between these two creatures was just unbelievable. Witnessing this unique friendship, Meyer decided to create a Facebook page for the duo and in no time it has reached more than 1,000 followers. At the same time, she started a GoFundMe page in order to collect the money needed for surgery to help Cupcake get on her feet.
