Arty the yellow lab made an obstacle of the doorway. But he learns to overcome his fear in the most unusual way.
It’s not unusual for dogs to fear shiny, slippery floors if they’ve grown accustomed to carpeting, but Arty the lab has the opposite problem! He is comfortable on wood flooring, but isn’t so sure about this carpeted room.
His encouraging humans sweetly call his name, trying to compel him to take the leap of faith and enter the living room with them. But he peeks around the doorway with adorable, but sad eyes, and freezes there in his doggy tracks.
He gets closer and closer to the edge of the carpet, but can’t seem to take that next step. Peering in the room filled with his family waiting, he tries so hard, but something is holding him back.
