The majority of dogs are pretty good at playing fetch and catching balls. In fact, Golden Retrievers are one of the dogs best known for their love of tennis balls! Some goldens seem to live to fetch and catch, and track down every single ball they can! But even the best fetchers can’t be perfect 100% of the time, right? Practice makes perfect and this sweet golden is clearly still practicing.

This golden retriever seems to be having an “off” day, and when the fur kid’s person rolls a baseball right towards him on the floor, the pup makes a courageous effort to catch the baseball! He just knows he’s going to get it until…well, you’ll have to see it for yourself!

This is a short video but a cute one, and a great reminder that when things don’t work out as you planned, no problem! Just play it off!
