Watch How Brave Firefighters Rescue Pup Who Had Fallen Through Thin Ice

On January 14, 2018, a golden lab fell through some ice on a residential pond. The emergency units in Racine County (in Wisconsin) jumped into action when they got the call.

The dog was about 40 feet from the shore when he fell in. When the crews arrived, the dog was having a hard time keeping his head above water. The crews had to work quickly to get the dog out! Two members of the fire departments put on their ice rescue suits and got into the icy water.

They made their way over to the dog and were able to pull him to shore! Once they were all out of the pond, the dog was covered with blankets to get his body temperature back to normal. Everyone believes that the dog will survive this ordeal. The sad part is, no one knows who the dog belongs to! Watch the nail-biting action in the video below!
