Before they were domesticated, most dogs were hunters, seeking out prey and stalking smaller animals quietly, then pouncing on them and catching them for food. While most of today’s pups no longer retain most of that profession, some of the old hunting instincts remain.
When these three German shepherd pups are out for a walk, they can’t help but notice that the world around them is teeming with life, and those old hunting instincts take over! One pup dives into a nearby river to search for fish, while the remaining two sniff around the grass looking for potential prey, stuffing their adorable little noses everywhere as they search for a target. Aww!
Although these three pups are very eager to catch something, this time, they’re not able to find anything to pounce on. Apparently, it’s the first time that has happened! Time to further hone those hunting skills so they can take home a big catch next time!
