Some breeds of pups are well-known for working well with children. The Husky, despite its mischievousness and energy, is actually known to be one of these breeds!
This is because the pup was also bred to be a family dog in addition to being a working dog, since it had to live in close quarters with people at all times. Best to make sure your pup is a social one when it has to deal with people constantly!
The Labrador Retriever is also one of those breeds that are good with children, and that years of breeding certainly shows itself in this pup! This pup is exceedingly gentle with the toddler that is playing with him, despite being nearly twice the child’s size!
That said, it is a good idea that Dad is watching over the two of them – both to make sure the child doesn’t hurt the pup by handling the pup aggressively (for example, pulling the pup’s ears) and to make sure the pup doesn’t harm the child.
