There is something incredibly heartwarming to come home to a pup after a long, tiring day at work. After all, who doesn’t love seeing their pup waiting for them at their doorstep, full of unconditional love and affection that is meant for you? It is probably one of the best parts of being a pup parent!

This Dachshund pup named Francesco is waiting eagerly for Dad to come home from work! Unfortunately for him, it seems like he hasn’t quite gotten the hang out exactly when Dad comes home just yet – it is still bright out, so this pup is a little early! But that’s alright, it means a pleasant surprise for Dad when he gets back.

It is actually interesting to see how pups in this way have a sense of timing as well. How do they tell the time, and correspond it with regular events? It is something interesting to think about, really.
