Teaching your children to help you around the house is important. Children should learn that being part of a family means that you chip in and do chores.

It is also a good bonding moment and can boost a child’s self-esteem when you praise them for doing a job. Even the smallest of tasks should be recognized as helpful – start simple, like having your child help you feed the animals, or put their dishes in the sink, and putting napkins on the table at mealtime.

The English bulldog in this video is being raised right! He is helping with the dishes. Never mind that the dishes are already in the dishwasher. They are not quite clean yet, and that is where the dog comes in. The dog is cleaning the dishes before they get washed – how thoughtful! LOL! Not every dog is this considerate or helpful!
