Picking coconuts is a normal part of life on the farm at Wacharapon Limsawat’s home in Chachoensao, Thailand. But one of the trees where he picks coconuts from hangs over a pond, making it difficult to retrieve the fruits easily.

Luckily, his pup is more than happy to help!

Lartae the German shepherd pup is just one year old, but has slowly been watching the coconuts bobbing in the water for a while. He is learning to help out by picking them up and bringing them to a pile behind the house. At first, he’s cautious and a little frightened of the water, but as time goes on, he becomes braver and more eagerly picks out the coconuts as the fall! What a good boy!

Of course, this doesn’t mean the pup doesn’t have a mischievous streak! After moving a good number of coconuts, he decides to steal one for himself and run off into the fields with them. Naughty pup! Watch this tale unfold here!
